I visited Binbrook in the early 1980’s with the air cadets on summer camp. I spent a night ’on duty’ with the QRA, & also a couple of days with the LTF. During my time with the LTF,i worked on what i was told to be a prototype lightning P1 that was being stripped to be placed as the gate guardian at binbrook.
